While St. Albert the Great has been blessed with our re-opening, many other parishes in the Archdiocese of Boston are still in vigil to save their churches. We will continue to support them as many of them are approaching 2 years in vigil.
- The following is a small sample of some of the e-mails we have received from visitors to the website. Hopefully you'll be as inspired by them as we all are!
Keep up the good work! You are an inspiration to the disaffected throughout the region. Other parishes are organizing to follow your example. You are not alone.

…We just can't picture a wrecking ball crashing in on our beautiful "country" church built in the 60's…What disappoints us is the lack of outrage from churches that are untouched.
Know we are with you in spirit and THANK YOU all for doing what you are doing. It is the right thing. Keep on following the Spirit who is within each of us and calls us anew each day!
-Kathy & Tim – St. Florence’s parish, Wakefield, MA
Thank you for your courage. We are beginning a "Voice of the Faithful" affiliate in our parish, Epiphany Cathedral. Our sixth meeting will be tomorrow evening. You will be in our prayers. Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for hurricane "Ivan." God Bless.
-Beverly, Interim Facilitator, Venice, FL (9/12/04)
Thank you for your prayers. It looks as though "Ivan" will pass us by on the west coast of FL. However, we will pray for those who are in "Ivan's" path.
We did discuss the mass on the Boston Common at our last meeting. We had printed out pictures to show those at the meeting..."you look like us!" If you have Bishop Lennon's and Archbishop O'Malley's address on hand, I'll hand it out at our VOTF meeting this evening. -Thanks. Beverly (9/13/04)
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
You are an inspiration. I am praying for all of you that the Holy Spirit will continue to infuse you with wisdom and courage. You are a living example of how all of us must claim our church. I hope that we can all focus on Jesus, the founder of our faith, who always had His priorities straight.
-Love & Peace, Mary Ann, St. Theresa the Little Flower Parish, Harvard, MA
-VOTF, Worcester diocese, (Prayerful Voice representative)
Keep up the good fight. I support you all with my prayers. My parish is closing also. That is hurtful enough but the way it is being done is mean spirited and nasty. I hope you are successful in your attempt to keep your parish open. God bless you all for your courage.
-Alice, Sacred Heart Watertown
We are so proud of all of the people of St. Albert's, as well as all who support you. As former South Weymouth residents, now residing in Sandwich, we often attended St. Albert's and were so appreciative of the welcoming feeling received when at your Church. We are so proud of you and TOTALLY SUPPORT YOU. Our friends, who are some of your parishioners, keep us well posted on the wonderful things you people are doing.
-Ed and Darrylle
We have become aware of your struggle to remain a community of faith in your church building. Receive my support and that of my wife and that of many of the Church of Lansing. Yours is a just and holy undertaking. Be at peace, continue to do good things, you are a light to the nations.
-Fr. Dick (married priest)
