| St. Albert the Great |
We are members of the family of the parish of St. Albert the Great who believe that we have been dealt a wrong that must be righted, no matter how long it takes. If not for us, then for our children and for other Catholics who are going through the same painful experience of 'reconfiguration'.
As of June 13, 2005, we have been officially re-established as St. Albert the Great Parish, East Weymouth, MA
Thanks go out to all those who have supported us during our 10 months in vigil. It has been a long and interesting process.

This week's "Pelly's Chuckle": (Straight from live appearances in Weymouth, MA))
PELLY’S CHUCKLE
A woman was walking on a beach, and came across a bottle with a cork in it. Naturally, she uncorked the bottle and out came the traditional cloud-of-smoke with a genie.
"Madam" , said the genie, "In gratitude for your having freed me from my imprisonment, I am going to grant you 3 wishes. Please note: your husband will get double what you wish for yourself."
"Hmmm," said the woman, "does he have to? That no-good bum ran off and I haven't seen him in years!"
"So sorry, madam, but yes, those are the rules we genies live by", replied the genie. "Please think carefully and make your wishes!"
The woman thought for a bit, then said "I'd like a million dollars", and instantly by her feet appeared a large bag of money totalling a million dollars. In a far-off land, her astonished and delighted husband found 2 bags of a million dollars each by his feet and headed for the nearest bar to celebrate his good fortune!
The woman pondered another moment, and said "I would like the most expensive diamond necklace in the world", and presto, in her hand was an extraordinary diamond necklace. And in that distant land, her husband changed his direction and headed for a jeweler to see how much money he could get for the 2 gorgeous diamond necklaces that had appeared in his hands!
The woman looked at the genie and said "Now, are you absolutely sure that my husband gets the same thing that I get, but exactly double?"
"Absolutely", replied the genie.
"Then, for my third wish," said the woman, "I want you to scare me half to death!"
